2011 HIGHLIGHTS:

2011 Experimental Free Handicap Features Feld Purchase - The 2011 Experimental Free Handicap features 2011 G2 Matron winner MILLIOINREASONSWHY.  The daughter of GRAND SLAM was purchased by Bob Feld for her owner Sagamore Farm. (View 2011 EFH).

A.P. Indy colt top seller at Keeneland Sept. Yearling Sale opening day -The first day of the 2011 Keeneland September Yearling Sale saw an A.P. INDY colt sell for $1.4 million to become the sales  topper of the opening session. The colt was out of the Deputy Minister mare Malka, and is part of the family of Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Super Saver. He was consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.

Bob Feld, a bloodstock advisor, said the colt was purchased by a group, which includes John Amerman and Robert “Shel” Evans. The colt will be trained by Neil Drysdale.“He’s a gorgeous colt,” Feld said in the Keeneland press release. “There aren’t too many A.P. Indy’s left. Neil thought he looked more like A.P. Indy than any colt he’s ever seen.”  More:
